Creator Content Guidelines
Version 2026-04-14
PrismaReels is built for bold, original storytelling. To protect creators, audiences, partners, and the platform, all submitted content must meet the standards below before it can be reviewed, approved, or published.
1. Submit only content you own or control
When you upload to PrismaReels, you confirm that:
- You created the content, or have full permission to submit it
- You own or control all necessary rights
- Your submission does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
- All information provided with your submission is accurate and complete
If you do not fully own or control the content, do not submit it.
2. You must have all required releases and licenses
Creators are responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary documentation, including:
- Talent and cast releases
- Parent or guardian consent for minors
- Location releases and permits when required
- Music licenses for all tracks used
- Licenses for stock footage, photos, artwork, graphics, or third-party assets
- Any other approvals needed for legal distribution and monetization
PrismaReels may request proof of rights clearance at any time.
3. No prohibited content
We do not allow content that includes, promotes, or depicts:
- Pornography or explicit sexual content
- Sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual material
- Any sexualized content involving minors
- Hate speech or discriminatory abuse
- Harassment, threats, or targeted bullying
- Graphic violence intended to shock or glorify harm
- Self-harm or suicide promotion
- Human exploitation, abuse, or trafficking
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive activity
- Illegal or dangerous acts presented as encouragement or instruction
If content crosses the line, it will not be published.
4. Mature content may still be restricted
Some stories may include intense or sensitive themes. PrismaReels may limit, reject, age-restrict, or remove content that includes:
- Nudity or sexually suggestive imagery
- Drug use or excessive substance abuse
- Gore or disturbing violence
- Abusive or exploitative subject matter
- Content that creates platform, advertiser, or app-store risk
Context matters. Story-first always wins over shock value.
5. Keep it original and honest
We want real creators. Real stories. Real ownership.
That means:
- No stolen or reposted content
- No unlicensed clips, songs, or visuals
- No misleading titles, thumbnails, or credits
- No fake endorsements, brand ties, or sponsorship claims
- No spam uploads or manipulated engagement tactics
If you use AI-assisted tools, you are still fully responsible for the rights, legality, and originality of the final work.
6. Meet quality and delivery standards
All submissions should be polished, watchable, and platform-ready.
Content should be:
- Formatted for vertical viewing when required
- Delivered with clear picture and clean audio
- Properly exported and free of technical issues
- Free of unauthorized watermarks or branding
- Submitted with complete metadata, credits, and supporting information
- Ready for editorial and publishing review
PrismaReels may reject content that is incomplete, poorly labeled, low quality, or not ready for release.
7. Respect brands, audiences, and culture
If your content includes products, logos, sponsored placements, or branded storytelling, you must have the right to use them.
We also expect creators to approach people, communities, and cultures with respect. No lazy stereotypes. No exploitative portrayals. No careless use of identity, language, or lived experience.
8. Review is required before publishing
Every submission is subject to review.
PrismaReels may:
- Approve content
- Ask for licenses, releases, or supporting documents
- Restrict or delay publishing
- Reject content that does not meet platform standards
- Remove content later if issues are discovered after approval
Submission does not guarantee publication.
9. Violations may lead to removal or suspension
If a creator violates these guidelines, PrismaReels may take action, including:
- Rejecting the submission
- Removing published content
- Suspending creator access
- Revoking publishing privileges
- Terminating accounts or partnerships
- Reporting unlawful activity when required
Repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.
10. Creator responsibility
Creators are solely responsible for the content they submit, including:
- Rights ownership and permissions
- Legal compliance
- Accuracy of credits and claims
- Use of music, likenesses, brands, and locations
- Any disputes related to unauthorized or unlawful use
If you cannot prove you have the rights, you should not upload it.
Final word
Create brave work. Own your rights. Clear your content. Deliver it clean.
